The Quickfire Band’s five experienced musicians play classic country and rock, oldies, Western swing, blues, and rockabilly, all of which they loved while growing up in the 60s and 70s. Their wide-ranging repertoire covers Hank Williams to Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard to Mark Chestnutt, Buddy Holly to the Beatles and Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley to Eric Clapton, Bob Wills to George Strait, and Big Joe Turner to J.J. Cale. They offer country shuffles and hard-edged honky tonk, British invasion and 60s standards, crying ballads and waltzes, and traditional blues, all served up with virtuoso musicianship and high energy. It’s all about the music.
